Victoria A Schock

Victoria A. Schock, 88 of La Crosse peacefully left this life in the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 30th at the Onalaska Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in rural Vernon County to Joseph and Mary (Mlsna) Hohlfeld. She married Leonard Schock in 1944 and their loving relationship lasted fifty years until his passing in 1993. Vicki held many different jobs but her most important role was being a wife, mother and grandma. She had many treasured friends with whom she played cards with at Forest Park Apartments. She considered them her extended family. She recently moved to Eagle Crest where she enjoyed exceptional care by their wonderful staff. In addition to her parents and husband Leonard, she was preceded in death by one sister Margaret one brother Joseph Jr. and daughter in law Bonnie Schock. She is survived by two sons, Arden (Susan) Schock, Darwin (Cheryl) Schock, two daughters, Sherry (Wendell) Carl, Jolene (Steve) Harris, grandchildren Tia (Jeff) SchockaConger, Michael Schock, Mandy (Bill) Niebeling, Jessica (Ray Waters) McCallson, Tony (Michelle Massman) Schock, Tim Schock, Nikki (Jayson) Hartman, Andrew Carl, Denver (Kim) Harris, Corey (Whitney) Harris, ten great grandchildren, her sister Fran Gehler and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Roncalli Newman Center of La Crosse. Rev. Al Wierzba will officiate. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services. The Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse is in charge of arrangements.
