Joan M Loose

Joan M. Loose, 79, of La Crosse, died on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. She was born on October 2, 1932 in La Crosse to Clair and Ida (Dansberry) Valentine. Joan had worked as a nurse at Gundersen Lutheran for many years. She loved going to rummage sales and her many collections.

She is survived by her husband Allan, a daughter Denise (Allan) Reckers of Abilene, TX, a granddaughter Courtney (Anthony) Marsh of Abilene, two great granddaughters, Raven and Skye, a brother, Clair (Beverly) Valentine of La Crosse, a sister, Beverly (Lester) Pralle of Onalaska, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17th, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church. Pastor Robert Wassermann will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
