Lisa Marie (Ostrem) Dutton

d. December 15, 2011

She was born on March 14, 1964, to Chester and Marlene (Eide) Ostrem. Lisa grew up in Viroqua and graduated from Viroqua High School in 1982. She later went on to receive a degree through Western Wisconsin Technical Institute. She was united in marriage on September 21, 1991, to Alan Dutton. They resided in Onalaska where Lisa pursued different management positions, including Charter Communications, until she stayed at home to help manage the business they had built together.

Lisa was a child of God. She was a woman of great faith and conviction, always fighting her battles on her knees. Lisa had a kind heart. A loving heart. A generous heart. She always found a way to give to others less fortunate without ever wanting to receive the credit. She had a positive outlook on life, always describing her time as peachy, even in her final days. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. Her boys were everything to her. She was active in her church, and always put Christ first. She enjoyed coaching cheerleading and volunteering her time where it was needed. She will forever be known for her shopping expertise, including the fine art of garage saleing that she perfected.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Alan; her sons, Zachary and Matthew; her parents, Chester and Marlene Ostrem of Viroqua; a brother and sister, Craig (Julie) Ostrem and Stephanie (Phil) Neprud of Viroqua; her maternal grandmother, Ann Eide of Viroqua; her mother-in-law, Barb (Ed) Burrell of Stoddard; her father-in-law, Patrick (Naomi) Dutton of Arizona; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul (Angie) Dutton of Black River Falls and Teri Dutton of Onalaska; nieces and nephews, Thomas, Joshua and Haley Ostrem, Elyse and Lucas Neprud, Nicholas and Makenna Dutton, and Jared Puent; as well as her loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Clarence Ostrem, Hattie (Hass) Ostrem, and Gladys (Vikeymr) Ostrem; her maternal grandfather, Thomas Eide; an uncle, Larry Van Fleet; aunt and uncle, Norma and Edward Olson; and two cousins, Eric Eide and Randy Olson. Blessed be her memory.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 20th, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Pauls Ev. Lutheran Church, 1201 Main St., Onalaska. Rev. William Bader will officiate. Burial will follow in the Onalaska City Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., and again on Tuesday from noon until the time of service.

God shall wipe all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelations 21
