Janet F Jansky

Janet was born on August 22, 1936 in La Crosse, WI., To Wilbur Bill and Sarah Orpha (Sheldon) Albrechtson. She married Gerald Jansky on August 8, 1953 in Long Beach CA.

Janet , designer/owner of Avanti Interiors, was known for her very creative & unique style of designing interiors in the area .

She is survived by her husband Jerry of 58 years, children Eric, Joel, Jody (Robb) Buchholz, and Karen ( fiance Darrell Gosa) .; grandchildren- Jamison, Blake, Larissa, Christian , Kyra and Myra. Great grandchildren- Benjamin, Jack, Augustus and Legend, Sister Carolyn (Albrechtson) McDermitt , and many nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and great granddaughter Taja Gage.

A celebration of life will be held at La Schers Uptown Bistro, 102 N. Leonard St. in West Salem on January, 14, 2012 from 11 am until 2 pm for family, friends and neighbors. Please join us in celebrating the life of this beautiful soul. The Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse is assisting the family.
