Ferne M Reno

Ferne M. Reno, 97 of Onalaska died on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Onalaska Care Center. She was born January 15, 1914 in Phillips, WI to John and Margaret (Reickert) Darrall. On April 2, 1932 she married Charles L. Reno in Rhinelander, WI and he preceded her in death on March 12, 1997.

Ferne and Charles lived most of their lives in Milwaukee and after retirement they moved to Kingston, WI. In 2000 Ferne relocated to Onalaska.

Ferne is survived by three children; LeRoy (Sherri) Reno of Westby, Lloyd (Ruth) Reno of Onalaska, and Margaret Hotaling of Westfield, WI, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband Charles, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Earl Darrall and a son-in-law, William Hotaling.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, December 30th at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Onalaska with Rev. Steven Kachel officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Arlington Park Cemetery, Milwaukee. Friends and family may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
