Jack S. Lundgren, 80, of Onalaska, died on Monday, December 26th, 2011. He was born on September 8, 1931 in La Crosse to Stanley and Vivian (Johnson) Lundgren. Jack served with the US Army from 1956 to 1958 and was stationed in Korea. He married Ruth Hohmann on June 6, 1959 in First Lutheran Church, Onalaska. Jack had worked at Trane Company as a welder for over 30 years. He and Ruth enjoyed walking with their friends at the Mall every morning. Jack liked airplanes and going to air shows, and loved to tickle his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Ruth, two daughters, Lisa (Roy) Black and Robin Lundgren and her special friend Tony Koula, five grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Megan and Matthew Black, and Casey Lundgren, a sister, Donia (Charles) Lenser, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jim and David, and two sisters, Sally and Sue.
