Malcolm Dahl

Malcolm Mac Dahl, 83, died Monday, December 26, 2011. Mac enjoyed a long, successful career as a high school coach and educator at La Crescent High School. Born in Staples, MN, Mac attended Luther College and Morehead State. He had coaching stints at Madison, MN, Lake Forest, IL and Bagley, MN before his arrival for the opening of La Crescent High School in 1965. Mac was an Army veteran in the 82thndth Airborne.

Mac is survived by his wife Barbara, his children John (Rita), Nancy (John), grandkids Andrew, Alex, Peter, Chanel and Maia.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at La Crescent United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until time of service. Memorials are preferred.
