She touched many peoples lives with her grace, humility, sensitivity and compassion. If there was anyone deserving of a lifetime achievement award it was Nancy. Mom, you dun good. You will be missed forever.
In addition to her husband Richard of La Crescent, she is survived by one daughter Sarah (Matt) Komperud of Onalaska, WI., one son Michael (Annie) Listiak of St. Louis Park, MN., four grandchildren; Zachary, Natasha, Sam and Aleya; her mother Elma Hage of Hermantown MN., two sisters, Judy Patton of Duluth, MN. and Mary (Jerry) Hallsten of Duluth. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother Tracy.
A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Church Of The Crucifixion in La Crescent. Rev. Gregory Havel will officiate. Burial will follow in the Crucifixion Cemetery, La Crescent. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and again at the church on Thursday morning from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation. The Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crescent is in charge of arrangements.
