Virginia A Miller

Virginia A. Gin Miller, 88, of La Crosse, died on Friday, March 02, 2012 at the Meadow Wood Assisted Living. She was born on November 3, 1923 in La Crosse to George and Julia (Walsh) Kolb. Virginia graduated from Aquinas High School and had worked at The Gauge during WWII. She married Robert J. Miller on May 9, 1944 in Columbia, SC and he preceded her in death in 2008. Virginia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved being with her family.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia (Rick) Boero of La Crosse, Judy Ginther of La Crosse, and Roxanne (Tom) Morgan of Hokah, MN, five grandchildren, Corri (Greg) Moran, Robert (Karen) Ginther, Curt (Kelly) Ginther, Sandy Mellick, and Jake (Angie) Ginther, ten great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Joe, Courtney, Kyle, Brooke, Gabe, Shawnna, Jeffrey, Lauren, and Regan, and two great-great-grandchildren, Carter and Ashton. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a grandson Jeffrey Robert Mellick, a son-in-law, Rodney Ginther, a brother Norm Kolb, and two sisters, Margaret Bullen and Pearl Kolb.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Rev. Rick Roberts will officiate. Entombment will be in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum, Mormon Coulee Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of services
