Delores A Lemke

Delores Ann Lemke (nee Stach) 85 of La Crosse died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Hillview Healthcare Center. She was born in La Crosse on August 10, 1926 to Frank and Veranda (Zinsmaster) Stach and graduated from Aquinas High School in 1942 at the age of sixteen. On August 23, 1944 she married LeRoy Bud Lemke at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in La Crosse and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2003.

Delores is survived by a daughter; Michele Lemke of Sparta, WI; two sons, Daniel (Karen) Lemke of La Crosse and LeRoy John Lemke of Washington D.C.; five grandchildren, Dawne, Daniel, Sally, Mathew and Scott; two great-grandchildren; Austin and Tyler; one great-great-grandson; Sylas, along with a sister, Barbara (Russ) Schams. In addition to her husband Bud, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kenneth Kenny Lemke, a great-grandson, Jacob Edward Keil, three brothers and two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 15th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Roberts officiating. Entombment will follow in Catholic Cemetery. Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Holy Trinity Catholic Church or the American Parkinson Disease Association are appreciated. Delores family would like to extend their thanks to the Hillview Healthcare Center and the nurses of the 700 spoke for their loving care and support. I love you.
