June L. Peterson, 98, of La Crosse, died on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Bethany-Riverside Nursing Facility. She was born on August 11, 1913 in Gilmanton, WI. She married Elmer Peterson and they had seven children. June was a lifetime member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and was very active in the Dorcas Society and Ladies Aide. She gave many hours of volunteering at the church including bake sales, funeral committee, quilting and singing in the choir.

She is survived by three daughters Doris (Patrick) Coughlin, Kathy (Paul) Nichols and Carla (Clyde) Lessard, two sons David and John, twelve grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, a son Peter, a daughter Karen and a grandson Joseph. June was a wonderful mother and will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 612 Division St., La Crosse. Rev. Dr. Mark Jolivette will officiate. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of service.
