June E Lindevig

June E. Lindevig, 77, of La Crosse, entered into eternal life on Friday, April 06, 2012 at Bethany Riverside Nursing Facility after a brave fight with Parkinsons disease. June was born on April 4, 1935 to John and Gertrude (Ogne) Tweed. She farmed and ran an agricultural business in Westby with her husband, Harold, for many years. She also worked as a paralegal for a number of law firms in La Crosse.

June is survived by her daughter, Paula (James) Steadman of La Crosse; son, David (Kathy) Lindevig of River Falls, Wi; four grandchildren, Blake, Brad, Abby and Bryce. She is further survived by sisters; twin Jane Johnson of La Crosse, Nancy (Harold) Dale of Stoddard, Gladys Tweed, Marie Tweed and Joyce Morrison all of La Crosse and by other relatives and many beloved friends and staff at Bethany Riverside. The family would like to thank everyone at Bethany Riverside for the excellent and compassionate care that June received.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold, a son Steven Lindevig, a brother, Robert Tweed and nephews, Jerry and Jeff Morrison.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 10 at English Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Duane Baardseth officiating. Burial with be in the Coon Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse is assisting the family with arrangements.
