John B Frisby

John B. Frisby 66 of La Crosse, WI., was born November 13, 1946 to Ray and Everdene Joan (Brethouwer) Frisby of Brillion, WI. He graduated from Brillion High School and in 1971 earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lakeland College. He married Eloda Johnson and they had three children; Patti (Dan) Hougom, Gerrilynne Gigi Kunert and Galen Frisby. He was the proud grandfather of Johnathan, Marissa, Johanna and Michael Kunert and Dawson and Sawyer Hougom. In addition to these he is survived by his sister Holly (Robert) Nash, aunt Fay Graff and many cousins.

An avid sports enthusiast, John took particular delight in the Green Bay Packers. He was a history buff who enjoyed reading and had an amazing memory for historical events and dates. John loved sharing fond memories of his trips to Oklahoma where his father was raised and where John spent many happy times. Known for his lively spirit and sense of humor, John will be missed by those he loved and who loved him. John was born to eternal life on April 12, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse. Pastor John Eumurian will officiate. Private family burial will follow in the Woodlawn North Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call on the family Tuesday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used in Johns memory.
