Willard E Jonas

He is survived by his wife Pat, two daughters, Rachel Jonas of Milwaukee and Emily (Todd) Wolter of La Crosse, eight grandchildren, Lydia, Julia, Yulitza, Sophia, Emma, Jeremiah, Alex and Alyssa, a brother LaVerne (Madalyn) Jonas of La Crosse, two sisters-in-law, Tess Sibley of La Crosse and Shelly (Butch) Zabel of Nodine, MN, nieces and nephews, Doreen (Joe) Foss of Tuscon, AZ, Paul (Cara) Jonas of La Crosse, Erika (Tim) Howard of Los Angelas, CA, Matthew Sibley of Milwaukee, Jessica (Dan) Pintz of Onalaska, Angela (Doug) Zumach of Holmen, and Mike Zabel of Nodine, and three great-grandnieces, Jessica Foss, and Sara and Morgan Jonas, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Arlan and his father-in-law, Lawrence Gadbaw.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 10th, 2012 at 11:30 AM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, La Crosse. Rev. Dr. Mark Jolivette will officiate. Burial will be in the Long Coulee Cemetery, rural Holmen. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of services. Willard's family would like to give a special thank-you to Laura Wiedman, the staff of Gundersen Lutheran Hospice, and his caregivers, Lori, Bryan and David, for their wonderful care.
