Sharon J. (Heiser) Daniels, 70, of Onalaska, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 in her home surrounded by her family.
Sharon was born on April 4, 1942, in Milwaukee, WI to Robert and Josephine Heiser. She grew up in Milwaukee and married Guy Daniels on October 21, 1961. They moved to Wausau, WI where they raised their two children and Sharon worked as a paralegal for American Family Insurance. She also taught religious education at St. Marks parish for over 15 years. After retirement, they moved to Manitowish Waters, WI for a short time and then moved to Onalaska to be near their grandchildren. While living in Onalaska, Sharon enjoyed her involvement in St. Patricks Catholic Church PCCW and teaching religious education. Her unending faith carried her through life.
Sharons family meant the world to her, especially her five grandchildren. She was a committed and caring wife, a supportive and loving mother and a proud and encouraging grandmother. She was an integral part of her grandchildrens lives and loved to watch her granddaughters dance and cheer on her grandsons sports teams. Sharon was a devoted wife, loving daughter, a wonderful and beloved sister and aunt. She was a beautiful person inside and out.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Guy; her son, Brad Daniels and daughter-in-law, Julie of Muskego, WI; her daughter, Lesley Jacobs and son-in-law, Tim of Sparta, WI; her mother, Josephine Heiser of Onalaska; her grandchildren, Kersten and Kaylie Daniels of Muskego and Ben, Greg and Christopher Jacobs of Sparta; her sister, Wendy Clauder and brother-in-law Paul of White Lake, MI and her brother, Bob Heiser of Wind Lake, WI; nieces and nephews, Eric and Kristen Clauder of White Lake, MI; Nicole and Kurt Heiser of Wind Lake; also by aunts, cousins and many friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Robert Heiser and sister-in-law Michele Heiser.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurse angels as Sharon called them on 3 West at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, Gundersen Lutheran hospital hospice and staff, the ladies of St. Patricks PCCW and all who supported the family during Sharons illness.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 22 at St. Patricks Catholic Church of Onalaska. Rev. Steven Kachel will officiate and entombment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of Onalaska on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and from 9:30 a.m. to time of service on Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Ovarian Cancer Society and St. Patricks Church.
