Bonnie J. Weigel, 82, of La Crosse, died on Sunday, June 24th, 2012 at the Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, WI. She was born on October 25, 1929 in La Crosse to Gale and Cleo (Crandall) Rank. She married Robert E. Weigel on August 26th, 1950 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Bonnie was a longtime member of the Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 1254 in La Crosse where she served as Secretary and Past-President. She had also served as a Regional President and State President. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and with her Eagles family.

She is survived by four children, Mary Stuhr of Holmen, Gary Weigel of La Crosse, Kenneth (Karen) Weigel of La Crosse and Daniel (Trish) Weigel of St. Louis, MO, 14 grandchildren, Kristine, Adam, Megan, Linse, Alycia, Andrew (Jenny), Phillip (Geri Lee), Benjamin, Emily, Nicole, Chad (Dana), Keith (Annie), Rachel and Nathan, 15 great-grandchildren, Alex, Eric, Ralphie, Cassie, Alleigh, Elainie, Malakai, Gibson, Kate, Emily, Jake, Melanie, Sam, Maddie and Drew, and four sisters and brothers, Betty Hinze of La Crosse, Gail Babe (Ron) Sweeney of Roanoke, VA, Benjamin (Ann) Rank of the Twin Cities and Ruth Niesen of Money Creek, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1998, her parents, a great-grandson Davis and a daughter-in-law Starla .

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 29th, 2012 at 11:30 AM at the Mormon Coulee Memorial Park with Pastor Ted Dewald officiating. Friends may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse on Thursday from 5:00 7:00 PM and again on Friday from 10:00 11:00 AM. A Prayer Service with the Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 1254 will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 PM.
