Susan J. Sue Hill 57 of La Crosse, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 28th in La Crosse.

She was Born in La Crosse on March 3, 1955 to Robert and Elaine (Knothe) Steele. She married Thomas Hill in La Crosse on July 21, 1973. Sue was a loving, Kind hearted woman who would do anything for anyone. She loved and cherished spending time with her family and friends, especially the quality time she spent with her three grandsons. She also treasured spending time with her mom gardening and doing yard work. Sue always took a great pride in the work she did in helping people in recovery. She In addition to Thomas Hill Sr. of La Crosse, Sue is survived by one daughter Jenny (Jamie Forschler) Hill of La Crosse. One son Tom Hill Jr. of La Crosse. Three grandchildren, Caleb, Malakai and Logan, her mother Elaine of La Crosse, two sisters Sharon VanRiper of Holmen and Sandy Veglahn of La Crosse. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one son Scott, one brother Robert and one sister Sheila.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse. Pastor Ted Dewald will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call on the family Tuesday morning from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services.
