Paul A. Beitlich - Paul A. Beitlich, 52, of Onalaska, died on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse.

He was born in La Crosse on December 5, 1959, to Clarence and Ruth (Stellner) Beitlich. Paul attended Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Grade School, graduating in 1975, and was a 1979 graduate of Onalaska High School.

Paul had a great sense of humor and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and assembling model airplanes and ships. He also enjoyed reading about military history and collecting comic books.

Paul is survived by three brothers, Douglas (Diane) Beitlich of Onalaska, Charles Beitlich of Beryl, Utah, and Orville Beitlich of Algood, Tenn.; four sisters, Elaine (Dennis) Keenan of Cottage Grove, Wis., Susan (John) Hefti of Reedsville, Wis., Marjorie (Willie) Schenk of Whitewater, Wis., and Sandra (Michael) Beranek of Onalaska; nieces and nephews, Dana (Paul) Hoffmann of Mindoro, Lisa Beitlich of Midway, Ky., Jennifer (Matthew) Rott of Stoughton, Wis., Jessica Keenan (special friend, Nick Chapin) of Janesville, Wis., Camie (Paul) Ferrier of Sherwood, Wis., Carrie (Jeremy) Struss of Mukwonago, Wis., Cory Schenk (special friend, Katie Junker) and Eric Schenk, both of Whitewater, Wis., Joshua Beranek and Michelle Beranek, both of Onalaska, Justin Beitlich of Springfield, Mo., and Brandon Phillips of Carrollton, Ga.; and great nieces and nephews, Dakota Hoffman, Shawn and Cassie Rott, Haley, Brandon, Gavin, and Aiden Ferrier, Donovan Struss, Ashton Chapin, Brandon Phillips, Jr. and Christopher Phillips. He is also survived by uncle and aunt, Carl and Doris Stellner of La Crosse; aunt, Vivian Beitlich of La Crosse; uncle, Lester Wrobel of Coon Valley; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John, Edward, and Kenneth Beitlich; and many aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21thstth, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Pauls Ev. Lutheran Church in Onalaska. Rev. William Bader will officiate. Burial will follow in the Onalaska City Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Luther High School Tuition Assistance Fund or to St. Pauls Ev. Lutheran Church.
