She was born on August 8, 1929, in Hillsboro, Wis., to Melvin and Helen (Gray) Parrish. She married Dale Huntington on March 2, 1946, in Viroqua. Babe and Dale owned and operated Huntingtons Garage and Marina in Genoa for 52 years before retiring in 1998. Dale preceded her in death on September 18, 2005.

Babe was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church in La Crosse and was a past member of St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church in Bad Axe, where she was active in Ladies Aid. In her free time, she enjoyed embroidery.

She is survived by her four children, Debra (Gary) Bolstad of Coon Valley, Jerry (Pam) Huntington of Wisconsin Rapids, Monte (Pam) Huntington of Appleton, Wis., and Brenda (David) Rundahl of Coon Valley; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren with one more on the way; her siblings, Melva (Duane) Yttri of Milton, Wis., Barbara Davidson of Genoa, Lola Davidson of Knob Noster, Mo., Bud (Jarda) Parrish of La Crosse, Joy (Forrest) Hart of Tomah, Wis., and Carol (Donald) Isbell of Janesville, Wis.; a brother-in-law, Gene Huntington of La Crosse; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Babe was also preceded in death by one sister, Donna Lou DeFlorian.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 23thrdth, at 11:00 a.m., at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church in La Crosse. Rev. Mark Bartling will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, 200 West Ave. So., La Crosse, on Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to Grace Ev. Lutheran Church in La Crosse or Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids.
