How can we go on without our good friend?
Dave touched the lives and hearts of people all over the world, especially in his beloved Ireland. His kind eyes and winning grin captured the hearts of everyone he met. To know Dave was to love him. He had a big heart and was always the first one there to help a friend.
Dave enjoyed a special bond with the Baumgartner and Strittmater families. They loved him dearly and considered him one of their own.
Even though our hearts are broken, we will do our best to celebrate his life. We will carry on in his honor the kindness he showed towards everyone and live our lives to the fullest as he did.
We love you Dave, and hold you now in our hearts forever.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse, 200 West Ave. South, on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 5 until 7 P.M. Private entombment will take place in the Chapel Of Devotion Mausoleum at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
