Ruth M Ray

Ruth Marie McGough Ray, died peacefully on July 27, 2012 at her home in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She was born on June 19, 1929 in Seneca, S.D. to John and Catherine Vopat McGough. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Hal, children Steven and wife June of Broadus, MT, Kevin and wife Jane of La Crosse, WI, Brian and wife Mindy of Cottonwood, AZ, Colin and wife Karen of Nashville, TN, Lisa and husband Michael of Minneapolis, MN, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son Peter, two sisters Kathleen and Loretta and a brother Don.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Roncalli Newman Center, 1732 State St., La Crosse. Rev. Alan Wierzba will officiate. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Highmore, S.D. Friends and family may call at the Schumacher Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse on Monday, July 30th from 5-7 PM, where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM, and again at the church on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of service. Memorials are preferred to the Arthritis Foundation.

So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
