Randy L Kessel

Randy L. Scooter Kessel, 45 of Bangor, WI. passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN. Randy was a loving husband, a great dad, a good son, an awesome brother and brother-in-law, a cherished uncle, a true friend and an all- around great man. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and had a special talent for all things mechanical and electrical often spending time working on vehicles and computers for friends and family. He was employed at IMMA-LSG at Fort McCoy. He also enjoyed spending time gardening with his wife. Randy will be dearly missed by all.He is survived by his wife Mary (Beier) Kessel of Bangor, his two step-sons; Anthony VanKoningsveld of Bangor, WI. and Ryan VanKoningsveld, U.S. Navy and by his parents Harry and Eileen (Block) Kessel of Caledonia, MN.Randy is further survived by his father-in-law, Marvin Beier; Brother; Greg (Fianc Erika Rose) Kessel, three sisters, Tracy (Jon) Riek, Wanda (Karl) Parkes and Callie (Dan) Stanhope; and his extended family members Butch (Sandy) Beier, Jim Scoop Beier and David (DeeDee) Beier, Julie (Jim) Sittig, and many, many nieces, nephews and cousins.Randy was preceded in death by his mother in law Mildred G. Beier ,sister in law Jonie Mama Jonie Kessel , Aunt Alice Hummel , and his uncles Bud Kessel, Butch Kessel, Lyle Block and Duane Block .Memorial services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 25, 2012. at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, 200 West Avenue South in La Crosse. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am until the time of services. People will be invited to share memories of Randy during the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used in Randys memory.
