Everett D Howe

Everett D. Bud Howe, 89 of La Crosse and formerly of Bloomington, Ind., died on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. He was born in Enid, OK., on March 9, 1923 to Charles and Rose Howe. He married Arlene R. Teegarden in Bloomington on October 10, 1981. Bud was a talented artist who loved to paint. He was also a fan of big band music playing both the trumpet and piano. Years ago he had played with Artie Shaws band.

In addition to his wife Arlene of La Crosse, he is survived by one son Ross (Judy) Howe of Cumming, GA. and one grandson Kevin Howe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson Jason and one brother Richard.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse. Pastor Stephen Terpstra will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call on the family Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Online guestbook is available at
