Hope O Hagar

Hope O. Hagar, 70, of Onalaska, WI passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. She was born in Willmar, MN on December 1, 1941 to Orval and Helen (Nelson) Swenson. She married Larry Hagar in Willmar on June 6, 1964 and he survives her. Hope was preceded in death by her parents.

Hopes life accomplishments were guided by compassion, caring and strong sense of social justice. Her many and varied friendships were among her most treasured assets.

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given in Hopes memory to the Salvation Army or the Coulee Region Humane Society. The Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of Onalaska is assisting the family.
