Ira Dean Stuhr

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Della, of Holmen, two sons, Larry (Cherie) Stuhr of Plover, WI and Randy Stuhr of La Crosse, two granddaughters, Jessica and Danielle of Wausau, WI, two grandsons, Nicholas (Kelly) of Madison and Jacob of La Crosse, two step-grandchildren, Matt and Leha of Plover, eight great-grandchildren, two sisters, Jeannette (Charles) Hoffmann of La Crosse, Ruby Jacobson of Onalaska, four sisters-in-law, Dorothy Stuhr of La Crosse, Doris Stuhr of Janesville, WI, Marge Stuhr of Tomah and Lucille (Marlyn) Ryall of Loves Park, IL, a brother-in-law Herman Peaslee of Rockford, IL, and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by many friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Ricky, three brothers, Walter, Robert, and James, and a nephew Timothy Vinson.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 19th, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of Onalaska. Pastor Ted Dewald will officiate. Committal services will be held at a later date in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 8:00 PM and again on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. The family would like to thank the 7th Floor, 9th Floor and ICU doctors and nurses at Mayo Healthcare for all their help in giving Ira such good care
