Mary A Miller

Mary Ann Miller 83 of La Crescent, MN, passed away on Wednesday, December 12th at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. She was born in La Crosse on February 27, 1929 to William and Anna (Lorenz) Tschumper. She married Ernest J. Miller at St. Peters Catholic Church in Hokah, MN on June 24, 1947 and he preceded her in death on November 20, 2004.

Mary loved to cook and play cards she also loved to spend time with her many family members and friends. She is survived by her children; Robert J. Miller of La Crescent, Gerald (Mary) Miller of La Crescent, Richard H. Miller of La Crosse, Rosemary A. (Dennis) Doering of Brownsville, MN, Rita M. (Dale) Anderson of La Crosse, Kenneth W. Miller of La Crescent; four grandchildren, Brian, Johnny, Jenny (Kenny) Mulholland, DJ (Chantel) Doering; four great grandchildren; Annabelle, Elizabeth, Landon, Emilyn and sisters in Law Angie (James) Hofer of La Crescent and Evelyn Miller of La Crosse. In addition to her parents and her husband Ernest she was preceded in death by six brothers, Anton, Emil, Frank, Fritz, Joseph and Edward Tschumper.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, December 17, 2012 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Hokah, MN. The Reverends Pratap Reedy Salibindla and Paul Breza will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Hokah. Friends may call on the family Sunday afternoon from 3 until 6 P.M. at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crescent located at 111 South Oak St. Visitation will also be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used in Marys memory.
