She is survived by five children, Shirley (Jim) Besl of La Crosse, Patricia (Jan) Mahin of Onalaska, Rita (Bill) Dubay of Bay City, MI, Ray (Dana) Riniker Jr. of Brownsville, MN, and Dick (Shawna) Riniker of La Crosse, 21 grandchildren, Scott (fiance Barb Phelps) Besl, Tim (Beth) Besl, Randy (Heather) Besl, Deb Burhoe, Corey (Carrie) Besl, Chris Schultz, Jane (Dan) Roberts, Lisa (Brad) Bray, Eric (Jenny) Mahin, Sally (Jay) Guelich, Cheryl (Dan) Adcock, Chris (Bryan) Ancel, Billy (Pam) Dubay, Steve (Kari) Riniker, Heath Riniker, Jason (Tina) Riniker, Josh (Lisa) Riniker, Chasta Riniker, Adrian (Ben) Kolpitcke, Billy Kremer, and Linse Kremer, 53 great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, four sisters-in-law, Irene (Jim) Sobkowiak, rosemary (Russ) Allen, Jean McGuire, and Mary Riniker, and a brother-in-law Robert Riniker. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, her parents, her mother and father-in-law, Joe and Emma Riniker, two sisters, Harriet and Louise Sieber, three sisters-in-law, Marie Wagner, Anna Mae Riley, and Janet Riniker, and a brother-in-law, Earl Riniker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 18th, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Patricks Catholic Church, Onalaska. Msgr. Steven Kachel will officiate. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Memorials may be given to the La Crosse County Humane Society, the Logan High School Alumni Association, or St. Patricks Catholic Church.
The family would like to extend a grateful thank-you to her caretakers, Denise Stinson and Chasta Riniker, which allowed Mom to stay in her own home for the past five years. Also, thank-you to the Onalaska Care Center, Especially Leif.
