Beatrice L. Bea Miller, 87 of La Crescent, MN, passed away at her home on Monday, December 17, 2012. She was born in La Crosse, WI, on September 15, 1925 to John and Minnie (Strasser) Weiland. She married Martin Marty Miller at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in La Crosse on April 20, 1948.

In addition to her husband, Marty, of 64 years, she is survived by her children; Sue Miller (Sachse, TX), Kathy (Rich) Peterson (La Crescent), John (Rose) Miller (Brownsville), Jean (Dave) Klinski (Caledonia), Judy (Jerry) Storlie (La Crescent) and Jane Miller (La Crescent).

Her grandchildren; Jason, Justin, and Jeff Storlie, Jen Conroy, Nathan, Jacob, Michael, and Aleisa Klinski, Rebecca Sharbono, Adam Peterson, Nicole Miller, and Christine Novak.

Her great-grandchildren; Jackson, Colton, Mason , and Jillian Conroy, Addica, and Jude Sharbono, Kora Miller, Lilly, and Morgan Novak, and Imani and Isaiah Peterson.

Sister, Rita Weiland, brother, John (Carol) Weiland, sister-in-law, Dorothy Weiland, brothers- in-law, Norbert (Rita) Miller, Mac (Theresa) Miller, Harold (Monica) Miller, Conrad Miller and Albert Miller, sisters-in-law, Mildred Miller, Gertrude (Walter) Miler and Lucille (John) Petersen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters; Rose Oliver, Eleanor Schild, Edward Weiland, Robert Weiland and Rueben Weiland; and one grandson, Shane Miller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Church of the Crucifixion in La Crescent. Rev. Gregory Havel will officiate. Burial will follow in the Crucifixion Cemetery, La Crescent. Friends may call on the family Friday evening from 3 until 6 P.M. at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crescent, 111 South Oak St.
