Gladys M Pfennig

Gladys had worked as a registered nurse for Franciscan-Skemp Medical Center in La Crosse for 40 years until her retirement in 1986. She then continued as a volunteer at the hospital for many years.

Gladys is survived by two grandchildren; Jeremy (Kelley) Kenyon of Corpus Christie, TX and Lesley (Erica Bowers) Kenyon of Rochester, MN; two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Jadyn Kenyon; a sister, Janice Arndt of Delafield, WI; along with three nieces and nephews, Edwin (Cyndy) Hetzfeldt of Hixton, WI, Sue (Rick) Scholl of Waukesha, WI and Denise (Ron) Figie of Elkhorn, WI. In addition to her husband Richard she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane E. Kenyon, her parents and a brother, Waldo Hertzfeldt.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 3thrdth at First Presbyterian Church in La Crosse with Rev. Dr. J. Taylor Haley officiating. Entombment will follow in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum, Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the church on Thursday from Noon until the time of services. Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church or Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice Program.
