Mark Allan Pfaff, 52 of Holmen passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Gundersen-Lutheran Medical Center. He was born in La Crosse on April 14, 1960 to John and Betty (Trehus) Pfaff.
Mark had worked as a local truck driver for over 15 years. He married Cindy Kauffmann in La Crosse and they had two daughters, Cassie and Brittany. They later divorced but remained close friends throughout the years. Mark was a river rat at heart who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was always a great listener and friend and seemed to know just what to say and when. He was big hearted, full of good stories and would be available to anyone at the drop of a hat. Mark was a loving and devoted father who enjoyed life. He was an avid Packers fan and was everyones go to guy for just about anything they needed. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
Mark is survived by his two loving daughters; Cassie Pfaff and Brittany (Chris) Ebert both of La Crosse; his father, John Pfaff of La Crosse; a brother, Randy (Gina) Pfaff of CA; a sister, Mary Webb of La Crosse; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends including Cindy Pfaff and many other friends he considered family. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Pfaff; a sister, Carol Bendel; a brother, Larry Pfaff; two brothers-in-law, Larry Webb and Rick Bendel; and a nephew, Scott Zobeck.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, February 7th at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in La Crosse with Rev. Bruce Iverson officiating. Friends and family may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Avenue South, La Crosse on Wednesday from 4-7 PM; and again at the church on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of services.
