Michael M. Talle, 58 of Holmen, WI, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. He was born in La Crosse on December 29, 1954 to Melvin and Marguerite (Waters) Talle. He married Deborah A. Sage at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Onalaska on July 25, 1987.
Mike loved his son, all of his family and friends. He was a quiet guy who enjoyed simple things, Friday night fish, solving the worlds problems with his brothers-in-law then solving them again with his brother at breakfast on Saturday morning. Mike loved good food, a great cup of coffee, one of Pats baked goodies and a movie, that would be his perfect night. Mike looked forward to the holidays. This would mean Kathys turkey dinner and good eats. He would come home and tell his dog, mighty good eatin, mighty good.Mike was the car guy. Before his early retirement, Mike was considered one of La Crosses top mechanics. He started his career as the window washer at Delta Motors and worked his way to the top earning many national awards. Mikes time in the pits at the race track were some of his fondest memories. When he would talk about these days with the Honda Boys he would smile and his eyes would just sparkle. Mike was also quite the gardener. He was extremely proud of his flower gardens, and well groomed yard. He took quiet pleasure in just watching everything grow. So long Buckwheat.
In addition to his wife Deb of Holmen, Mike is survived by one son Jonathan M. Talle of Holmen, one sister Mary Jo (Marty) Luebben of Donna, TX, one brother Tom (Ann) Talle of La Crosse and many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his wifes loving family; Patricia and John Fort of Winona, MN, Lee and Kathy Sage of Onalaska, Richard and Mary Sage of La Crosse and Lori and Jerry Bollard of Pocahontas, IA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister in law Ellie Talle and two brothers in law, Michael Sage and William Moss.
