Agnes A. Lucey, 73 of Stoddard, WI, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. She was born in La Crosse on March 27, 1939 to Leo C. and Barbara M. (Trussoni) DeFlorian. She graduated from Aquinas High School in 1957. Agnes married Michael J. Mick Lucey at St. Charles Catholic Church in Genoa, WI, on September 23, 1959. Agnes had spent her entire working career with the Trane Company of La Crosse. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and going to the Casino. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her eleven grandchildren. She was also an active member at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in La Crosse and their funeral lunch committee.

In addition to her husband Mick of Stoddard, she is survived by her four children and their families; sons Pat (Darla) Lucey and their children Makayla, Megan, Joshua and Jared of Middle Ridge, WI, Mike Lucey and children Jacob, Addison and Nathaniel of La Crosse, Tim (Karen) Lucey and their children Marc and Emily of Heartland, WI, and her one daughter Teresa (David) Brown and their children Ryan and Andrew of St. Joseph Ridge, WI. She is further survived by two brothers Francis (Beatrice) DeFlorian of Stoddard, Bernard Bud (Joyce) DeFlorian of Coon Valley, WI, her Brothers in law Francis Hank Nickelatti of Genoa, Darwin Sonny Lord of French Island, WI, Joe Hartley of Seneca, WIand many other loving family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Thomas and Leonard DeFlorian, six sisters, Mary Heller-LaDue, Virginia Lord, Jean Nickelatti, Leona Herlitzke, Bernadette Hartley, Clara Clements and four brothers and one sister who preceded her in infancy. She was further preceded by two grandchildren Mollie and Joel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Rev. Rick Roberts and Rev. Lawrence Berger will officiate. Burial will follow in the Catholic Cemetery La Crosse. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening from 5 until 7 pm at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services La Crosse Chapel where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 pm. Visitation will also be held Thursday morning at the church from 9:30 am until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used in Agness memory.
