She is survived by one daughter Sylvia (Bill) Stephens of Waunakee, WI, two sons Fredrick of Ripon, WI and Paul of Winona, MN, four grandchildren Jennifer (Chris) Roy, Angela (Joe) Hoeppner, Mary Sorenson and Peter Sorenson, four great grandchildren Harrison and Joseph Roy, Sara and Noah Hoeppner, one sister Lorraine (Don) Helfrich of La Crosse, one brother Clifford (Teresa) Tomsicek of La Crosse, three sisters-in-law Florence (Verner) Carlson of Superior, WI, Mae Klawitter of Duluth, MN and Betty Sorenson of Onalaska, WI, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmo on February 8, 2007, a daughter-in-law Judith Sorenson, five brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Church of the Crucifixion in La Crescent. Rev. Gregory Havel will officiate. Burial will follow in the Crucifixion Cemetery. Friends may call at the Schumacher Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, La Crescent Chapel, 111 S. Oak St., on Monday from 5-7 PM where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM and again at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of service. In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
