Frank J Bakalars

He is survived by his wife Sandy, one daughter Wendy (Bruce) Muenzenberger of West Salem, one son Michael (Chris) Bakalars of La Crosse, six grandchildren Ashley (Jamie) Graw, Kristin Muenzenberger, Kayla Muenzenberger, Megan Roh, Tabitha Roh and Jacob Roh, two sisters Marie (Ray) Smith of La Crosse, Janice Brown of Irvine, CA, one brother Marvin Mick Bakalars of La Crosse, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Shirley Bakalars.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2-4 PM on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, followed by a Memorial Mass at 4:00 PM. Revs. Douglas Robertson and Delbert Malin will concelebrate. Following the services there will be a celebration of life at Goose Island Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Aquinas High School or University of South Dakota Athletic Department. The Schumacher Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, La Crosse chapel is assisting the family.
