Anna Mary Jones - Anna Mary Jones, 94 of Keystone Communities of Prior Lake, MN passed away peacefully on June 13, 2013 at St. Gertrudes Health Care Center in Shakopee, MN. Anna was born on June 27, 1918 in Potosi, WI to parents, John and Mary (Schumacher) Gibson. She graduated from Nurses Training in 1939 as a Registered Nurse the career she pursued all of her working life. She married Raymond L. Jones on December 27, 1941 in La Crosse, WI. They moved to their home on the Mississippi River near Winona in January of 1951. In December of 2004, to be closer to their children and grandchildren, they moved to Prior Lake, MN. Anna is survived by daughter, Pat Adams of Chanhassen, MN; son, Mike (Pat) Jones of Savage, MN; grandsons, Christopher (Stephanie) Adams, Curtis Jones; great grandsons, Ian Adams, Henry Adams; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; parents John and Mary Gibson; sister, Frances Rice; brother, Donald Gibson, and a nephew. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Church of St. Michael, Prior Lake, MN. Interment will be at Dakota Public Cemetery in Dakota, MN. A gathering to celebrate Annas life will be held at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Service of La Crosse, WI on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 2-4PM. Memorials are preferred to the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation, 1836 South Avenue, La Crosse, WI 54601.
