Brian Patrick Marx

Brian Patrick Marx, 35, of Onalaska, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 29, 2013. Brian was born on April 17, 1978 to Calvin and Cynthia (Hammes) Marx. He graduated from St. Patricks Catholic Grade School in Onalaska and in 1996 he graduated from Aquinas High School. He then attended Western Technical College for carpentry. Brian worked with Mike Jaekel for several years before starting his own business, Marx Remodel, in 2005. On May 27, 2000 he married Carrie Johnson. Besides spending time with family, he enjoyed watching the San Francisco 49ers and getting the latest updates on any sports channel, and he loved his work.

Brian is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Carrie, four wonderful children, Zach, Kailey, Riley and Lexy, and their litl dog Sophie, all of Onalaska. He is also survived by his parents, Calvin and Cynthia Marx of Onalaska, a sister Sara Marx and her best friend Don of Dallas, TX, his grandma Marilyn Marx of West Salem, his mother and father-in-law, Marty and Mary (Schaub) Baldwin and also Bob and Dawn Johnson of La Crosse, and many wonderful uncles and aunts, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 3thrdth, 2013 at St. Patricks Catholic Church, Onalaska. Rev. Douglas Robertson will officiate. Committal services will be held in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from9:30 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used for an education fund for Brians children
