Richard A Knudson

Rich was born in La Crosse on January 17, 1938 to Ralph W. and Adeline M. (Muenzenberger) Knudson. He married Helen M. Peterschmidt on November 12, 1960, in La Crosse. Helen preceded him in death on August 2, 2008.

Rich worked in clothing sales throughout his life. He had worked at Desmonds in downtown La Crosse for several years and currently employed by Tinys Big & Tall Mens Store in Onalaska. He was a very talented tailor and also enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include his daughter, Sharon (Kathy KasaKaitas) Knudson of La Crosse; his son, Steve (Lisa) Knudson of Madison, Wis.; two granddaughters, Hannah and Leah Knudson of Madison; two sisters, Doris Poole of La Crosse and Mary (Kenny) Page of Onalaska; one brother, Louis Knudson of La Crosse; nieces and nephews; and his favorite companion, his dog, Buffy. In addition to his wife, Rich was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia Layland.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26th, at 12:00 p.m., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Holmen. Rev. John Parr will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.
