Jean Tesch

Jean Audrey (Elliott) Tesch, 91, of La Crosse, died on July 25, 2013 at Bethany Riverside Nursing Facility.

Jean was born on May 23, 1922 to Bion and Lois (Leighton) Elliott in River Falls, Wisconsin.

Jean lived life for her family. She worked various jobs over her lifetime. She enjoyed animals, horseback riding, sewing and reading.

Jean is survived by her daughters; Margaret (Dan) Hamiel of St. Charles, MN, Nancy (Johnny) McElmurry of Augusta, KS, and Diane (James) Tooke of Cary, IL, grandchildren; Shirley (John) Mertes, Annette (Randy) Pullen, Daniel (Michelle) Hamiel, Patrice Brown, Alan (Angie) Brown, Stephanie Brown, Julie (John) Kendhammer, John Thompson, Heather (Darryl) Dauphin, Alicia Armstrong, Dana (Will) Borner and Eric (Lisa) Tooke, great-grandchildren; Steven Parker, Stephanie Parker, Samantha (Jared) Voves, Tiffany Parker, Andrew (Rikki) Pullen, Tyler Kendhammer, Brandon Kendhammer, Nicole Kendhammer, Ian Brown, Owen Brown, Hazel and Helena Brown, Timothy Ryle, Eleanor Thompson, Kahlan Tooke, Kassandra Tooke, and Daniel Hamiel, great-great-grandchildren; Dylan Ward, Dante Ward, Baleigh Ward, Makya Ward and Loralei Parker. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, daughters; Kathleen Brown and Sheila Thompson, ex-husband; Raymond F. Tesch and her beloved dog, Kelly.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 29 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Ted Dewald officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 5p.m. until time of service. Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 30 in the Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls, Wisconsin.
