He was born June 4, 1973 in La Crosse to Bernard and Carol (Henke) Lecher Jr. Eric met the love of his life, Mary Jane Atchison, and married her April 23, 1999 on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

Eric was a wonderful man with a tremendous sense of humor. He was a man who loved sports (especially the Green Bay Packers), great music, hilarious movies, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He was an unselfish, simple guy with a smile.

In addition to his wife Mary Jane, he is survived by two children Aliyah and Louden, his father Bernard Lecher, one brother John (Sara) Lecher, one sister Michele (Brian) Kuesel, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Eric was preceded in death by his mother Carol Ann Lecher and his grandmother Ruth.



Visitation and a brief service will be held Monday, August 5, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services La Crosse chapel, 200 West Ave. South in La Crosse. Pastor Mark Jolivette will officiate. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used in Erics memory.

An Eric J. Lecher Memorial Fund has been established at Coulee Bank in La Crosse, Wis. The fund is to help support his wife and two children.
