John F Pochowicz

John F. Pochowicz, 75, of Dresbach, Minnesota passed away on the morning of August 1, 2013 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. He was born on August 7, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to Harry and Mary (Shortinger) Pochowicz. John was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He served his country from March 1957 to March 1961.

John is survived by his friends and loved ones at the Mosher Veterans Home in Dresbach, MN, where he has lived since 1987. He will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the Schumacher Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, La Crescent Chapel, 111 S. Oak St. Rev. Gregory Havel will officiate. Military honors by the Gittens-Leidel American Legion Post 595 will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of service. Burial will be held at a later date.
