Len was well-known in the area for his lifelong love of billiards, his shop, Exclusively Billiards, and his gentle humor. He constantly competed in tournaments and eventually became a BCA-certified Master Billiard instructor, sharing his love of the game with others.
Len was preceded in death by his son Glenn, his brother Bernie, and his parents, Dominic and Bernadine, and his daughter-in-law Mary. Len is survived by his wife of 20 years, Harriet; daughter Charlene; sister, Nancy Platteter; and brothers, Dick, Emil (Janet) and Robert (Laurie); stepsons, Randy Daul (Jean), Rick Daul and Scott Daul; and grandchildren; Justin, Halle, Jordan, Becky and Katie; and honorary grandchildren, Lily, Trs and Ethan.
Len was previously married to Faith Jaszewski (Walske) and is the mother of his children, Charlene and Glenn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 9th, at 2:00 P.M., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 515 N. Main St., in Holmen. Monsignor Del Malin and Rev. John Parr will officiate. Burial will follow in the Onalaska City Cemetery. Friends may call at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services-Onalaska Chapel located at 907 Sand Lake Road, on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., and at the church on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
A celebration of Lens life will be held following the services on Friday (starting at approximately 4:30 p.m. and ending when we hear the last story or the last pool ball is shot) at the American Legion at 731 Sand Lake Road, Onalaska. We hope that Lens many friends will come and share their stories about Lens life.
