Elizabeth A Lamprich

Elizabeth A. Beth Lamprich, 65, of Stoddard, WI, went to be with her Savior on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. She was born on November 8, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Michael and Frances (Westetd) Smith. Beth, a proud Northsider, graduated from Logan High School in 1965. She started working at the State Bank right after graduation and worked there for several years until she had the opportunity to become one of the first employees at the new Radisson Hotel as a secretary. Later she left the workforce to pursue her hobbies as a gardener, turning her yard into a floral showplace. She loved to decorate the house and yard for each and every holiday. Family and friends were very important to her. She hosted most holidays, birthdays, and of course, Octoberfest. She also enjoyed cooking, stained glass and many other crafts. She was very talented at most everything she tried. In addition, she volunteered for different organizations, including La Crosse Citizens Advocacy. She had a great love for animals, especially her cats. Beth was a very caring person. Although, never blessed with her own children, she loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews, as well as any other children she came in contact with.

Beth is survived by her husband of 37 years, Greg, brothers, Michael (Teresa) Smith of Owatonna, MN, Kevin (Carol Shilts) Fredrickson of Champlin, MN, Mark Fredrickson of Durand, WI, sisters-in-law Brenda Fredrickson of Elmwood, WI, Karen (Mike) Jensen of Green Bay, WI, nieces and nephews Heather Smith and her family, Christian, Eli and Elizabeth Fredrickson, Kris Murphy, Steven Jensen, Kari Brautigam and their families. She was preceded in death by her mother Frances Fredrickson, her father Michael Smith, her step-father Paul Fredrickson, a brother David Fredrickson along with her father and mother-in-law Ellsworth and Elva Lamprich.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Schumacher Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. S., La Crosse. Rev. Roger Sachs will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Donations may be given in her name to the Coulee Region Humane Society, 911 Critter Ct., Onalaska, WI (please designate SNAP program for cats), the Humane Society-Vernon County, 1150 Nelson Pkwy, Viroqua, WI 54665 or the American Cancer Society.
