Murilla A Molzahn

Murilla A. Sis Molzahn, 87, of Zephyrhills, FL and formerly of La Crosse, died peacefully on August 20thafter a stroke while visiting her son-in-law and grandchildren in Eau Claire. She was born on February 14, 1926 in La Crosse to Frank and Murilla (Granke) Allen. Sis graduated from Logan High School and married Robert Molzahn on June 15, 1946 in English Lutheran Church, La Crosse. After retirement, Sis and Robert traveled for 24 years in their Airstream Trailer, visiting all 50 states, all provinces of Canada, Mexico and South America. Sis made her home in Bahrs Park in Zephyrhills. Sis loved her church and made devotions part of her daily routine of faith. She also took time every night to say special prayers for everyone. Sis was smart, thoughtful, kind, fun, and had a spirit that was unstoppable. She would do anything for anybody and we will all miss her a lot. She made our family complete.

She is survived by sons, Rodney (Bonnie) of Northport, FL and Randy (Sandy) of California, a son-in-law, Randy Kottwitz of Eau Claire, grandchildren, Ryan (Carol) Molzahn, Cory Molzahn, Daniel and Matthew Kottwitz, Carroll, Tyra, and Bobbie Jo of California, Georgia of Arizona, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, a daughter, Sandra Kottwitz, a brother Hoxie Allen, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 25th, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Service of La Crosse. Pastor Duane Baardseth will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 Pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to English Lutheran Church Choir, Bahrs Park in Zephyrhills, FL, or the American Cancer Society.
