Luella A Clements

Luella A. Clements, 95 of La Crosse, Wisconsin went to our Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2013. Luella was born March 7, 1918 in the Town of Washington, Wisconsin, to Joseph and Agnes (Fiebig) Neuburg. She married Paul G. Clements on November 26, 1940, St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in La Crosse. She was employed at St. Francis Hospital as a nursing assistant and retired in 1981 after 20 years. She was an active member of Mary Mother of the Church Parish. Luella loved gardening and sewing and enjoyed making the grandchildren stuffed animals and clothes. Luella is survived by six daughters, Patricia McClone, of Beaverton, Oregon, Mary (Michael) Stoetzel of White Bear Lake, Minn., Paulette Marks of Struthers, Ohio, Sandra (Michael) Miller of Onalaska, Susan (Gary) Bay of Platteville, WI, Sharon Maier of Onalaska; Four sons, Kenneth (Sherry) of Onalaska, Ronald (Patricia) of Onalaska, Steven (Joan ) of Stoddard and Greg (Gretchen) Clements, twenty three grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and a sister Mildred Semon of Watertown, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 1999, a son Wayne in 1968, two sisters Cecelia and Theresa, and a brother Clarence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 24th, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Rev. Douglas Robertson will officiate.Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.Friends may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Service of La Crosse on Monday with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 PM and visitation to follow from 6:15 8:00 PM. A visitation will also be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice Program in La Crosse. Luella was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed.
