Delores Dee-Dee Nagle, 63, of Onalaska, passed away at her home on Friday, September 27, 2013. Dee-Dee passed away after a several year battle with stomach cancer. She was born in Dodgeville, Wis., on August 26, 1950, the eldest of 10 children of Paul and Lois (Schaaf) McGraw. After high school, she came to La Crosse to Viterbo University to pursue a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. After graduation in 1972, she began working at St. Francis Hospital. Except for one year, the rest of her 41 year nursing career was spent at the hospital or at Skemp Clinic (Mayo Clinic Health Systems), ending with 32 years in the Urology Department of the clinic. In March she retired due to her health. At that time she was the only CURN (Certified Urology Registered Nurse) in La Crosse. She loved life in general. She especially loved her husband, Jim, her sons, (Eric and Mark), her family, friends, and the Urology staff and patients. Daughter-in-law, Anna, and granddaughter, Kate, were dearly loved and wonderful additions to her life. Dee-Dee always had a smile and a story about something. Dee-Dee is survived by Jim; Eric and Mark (Anna); and the light of her life, granddaughter, Katherine Kate. She is also survived by her mother, Lois McGraw, and brothers and sisters, Mary (Ray) Cooper, Jerry McGraw, Elly (Tim) Chybowski, Stan (Robin) McGraw, Den (Sue) McGraw, Dave (Maureen) McGraw, Teresa (Marty) Schmidt, Paul (Heidi) McGraw, and Dan (Jill) McGraw. She is further survived by her mother-in-law, Elrose Nagle, in-laws, Pat (Gerry) Christianson, Donna Johnson, Randy (Jeanette) Nagle, Cheryl Crawford, Barb (Steve) Hoff, Debbie (Dean) Seidel, Scott Nagle, Kerri Nagle, Janet Bahr, and numerous nieces , nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul McGraw; father-in-law, Ed Nagle; nephew and godson, Justin McGraw; and in-laws, Vicki McGraw, David Crawford and Floyd Johnson Sr. Dee-Dee requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration; Mayo Clinic Healthcare La Crosse Oncology Center; St. Clare Mission, or to a charity of the donors choice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 30th, at 7:00 p.m., at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 1031 Main St., in Onalaska. Msgr. Steven Kachel will officiate. Burial will take place in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of Onalaska is assisting the family.
