Frederic R Papenfuss

Fred Papenfuss, 54, of Nodine, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013. He was born on January 25, 1959 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Ross and Marlene (Mannon) Papenfuss. He married Carnel Richmond on October 4, 1980. On February 10, 1982 he was blessed with a son, Edward Ross Papenfuss, his pride and joy.

His favorite memories were of time spent with family and friends, coaching little league baseball in Dakota, trips to Menomonie for car races and fishing trips to Border View Lodge at Lake of the Woods. All of his nieces and nephews brought so much joy to his life.

He is survived by his wife Carnel and son Eddie. He is also survived by his mother Marlene, sisters Joan Obitz and Laurie (Dan) Erdmann, brother Wendall Junior (Marcia) Sage, along with numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, that he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his father Ross, sister Betsy and brother-in-law Bud Obitz.

According to Freds wishes, his body will be cremated. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Nodine, Minnesota. Schumacher Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, La Crescent Chapel, is assisting the family.
