Leslie Jon Jack Williams, 71, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Saturday, October 5, 2013 in his home. He was born on October 30, 1941 in La Crosse to George Chut and Dorothy (Lochman) Williams. He graduated from La Crosse Central High School in 1959. Jack continued on to be a cement finisher for Williams Construction, and moved on to own and operate his own business, Williams Trucking.
He is survived by his wife Rosealie Jean (Jackson) Williams, three children, Kitty (Dean) Van Riper of Holmen, WI, Alan Williams of Hastings, MN, and George (Chris) Williams of Austin, TX, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother Richard (Pam) Williams of La Crosse and one sister, Carol (Joe) Theisen of La Crosse and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents George Chut and Dorothy Williams, father-in-law Louie Abraham, and mother-in-law Dolly Jackson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Service of La Crosse. Pastor David Leistekow will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 7:00 PM and again on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
