Darlyne Ann Kienahs

Darlyne Ann Kienahs, 76, of La Crosse, died on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. She was born on February 1, 1937 in La Crosse to Clifford and Helen (Semlar) Nyberg. Darlyne liked to travel, movies, her pets, rides to Goose Island, and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed their summer place in Brownsville, MN, where she worked at the Sand Bar, and yearly trips to Florida. Darlyne had worked as a market researcher, and as the head coordinator for the census for Southern Wisconsin.

She is survived by her husband Henry, two daughters, Karrie (John) Robinson of Trempealeau, WI, and Lorrie Kienahs of Madison, WI, three grandchildren, Nicky (Gabe) Hull, Sara Gallup, and Kris (Monica) Robinson, and five great-grandchildren, Chloe and Emma Hull, Kylee and Taylor Gallup, and Kariann Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant daughter Vickie, and a sister, Betty Horstman.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 21thstth, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crosse. Pastor Ted Dewald will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 PM until the time of services.
