Donna Mae Steinmetz

Donna Mae Steinmetz, 78 of La Crosse, passed away at her home on Monday, October 21, 2013. She was born in Taylor, WI, on August 11, 1935 to Ilan and Marie (Waller) Dale. On May 14, 1960 she married Richard Scotty Steinmetz in Coon Valley, WI. Donna had worked in the Traffic Department at the Trane Company of La Crosse for 42 years retiring on May 1, 1998. She was also a longtime member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in La Crosse. In addition to her husband Scotty, she is survived by one son Craig (Joy) Steinmetz of Holmen, WI, and two brothers Arthur (Lori) Waller of Kingman, AZ and Larry Dale of Menifee, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church. Pastor Thomas Meyer will officiate. Burial will follow at the Mormon Coulee Memorial Park in the town of Shelby. Friends may call on the family Saturday morning at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. The Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services La Crosse chapel is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Coulee Region Humane Society.
