Lyle I Bateman

He is survived by his wife Florence, two sons, Jim (Diane) of La Crescent and David (Gina) of Plymouth, MN, four grandchildren, Mark (Christy) Bateman, Jodi (James) Gibbons, Matthew Bateman and Peter Bateman, and four great-grandchildren, Greg and Emma Gibbons and Christian and Ayren Bateman. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Donald.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 5th, 2013 at 11:00 AM at First Ev. Lutheran Church, La Crescent. Pastor Chris Christenson will officiate. Burial will be in the Hiler Cemetery, Nodine. Friends may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Service of La Crescent on Monday from 5:00 7:00 PM and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to First Ev. Lutheran Church, La Crescent, Luther High School, or Hiler Cemetery Association.
